Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years or more of administrative/receptionist experience
- proficiency in office equipment and computer systems
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- strong organizational skills
- keenness for detail and accuracy
- commitment to the values and mission of Abundant Life Church
- ability to work Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- willingness to become a member of Abundant Life Church
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
- typing, proofreading, and word processing skills
- ability to handle precise detail in administrative tasks
- effective communication skills
- patience, tact, respect, empathy, and courtesy
- ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
- commitment to ministry values and church mission
Job Duties
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
- greets and assists guests in the Johnson County Campus administrative offices
- prepares outgoing mail
- sorts and distributes incoming mail/packages
- monitors and updates files in the church membership database as needed
- operates office machinery as required
- collaborates with central staff regarding campus events and administrative needs
- assists pastors and deacons with hospital visitation schedules and communicates updates throughout the week
- maintains conference rooms daily for meetings, ensuring that they are stocked and hospitable
- ensures that bereavement gifts are ordered and delivered
- other administrative duties as assigned
