Job Duties
- Assist with planning, developing, promoting, and executing campus life events
- Support efforts to ensure events align with university mission and student engagement
- Contribute to development of event logistics including themes, timelines, vendors, reservations, and budgets
- Prepare and coordinate distribution of event and promotional materials through various communication channels
- Participate in planning committees for event ideas, logistics, budgeting, and execution
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors for estimates, availability, and event confirmation
- Assist with vendor compliance and complete paperwork such as invoices and requisitions
- Coordinate event logistics including staffing, equipment, facilities, setup, and tear-down
- Provide work direction to volunteers, student employees, and team members
- Consult with director and event leads on complex questions and situations
- Gather and analyze data to support event budgets, vendor selection, and schedules
- Maintain event database to capture planning and post-event details
- Assist director with day-to-day department functions
- Perform general office duties as directed
