Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow cleaning protocols
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene

Job Duties
- Disinfection of medical equipment including wheelchairs lifts and shower chairs
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried and stored in designated locations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the facilities including carpet extraction stripping and waxing floors and grout care
- Dispose of garbage and recycling in a timely and sanitary manner following facility protocols
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as mopping floors wiping down surfaces and cleaning windows to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor supplies and notify supervisors of low stock or equipment issues
- Assist with other housekeeping department duties as requested by supervisors
- Adhere to environmental services safety and sanitation regulations including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Work collaboratively with department staff to ensure efficient operations during quiet hours and special events
