Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience preferred
- able to work minimum 40 hours per week including weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed
- capable of operating a variety of equipment and tools
- able to lift up to 75 pounds
- good team player
- maintain a friendly, courteous, and eager-to-please attitude
- high attention to detail
- availability to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and overtime
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 2 years experience in housekeeping preferred
- ability to operate various cleaning equipment and tools
- strong attention to detail
- good team player with ability to work well with others
- pleasant demeanor and friendly attitude in working with vendors, employees, and other school community members
Job Duties
- perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain field houses and campus buildings in a clean and orderly manner as designated by the Housekeeping Director
- empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas
- vacuum rugs and carpets
- sweep and scrub floors using brooms or mops
- dust and polish furniture
- clean restrooms
- clean desks and tables and wipe down all surfaces
- general clean-up after events including trash and debris pick up, mopping, vacuuming
- review and inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
