Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years of culinary and leadership experience
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours daily
- ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- effective communication skills
- knowledge of kitchen safety and food safety protocols
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- adherence to dress code and professional appearance
- willingness to comply with HSEQ policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- culinary degree or certification preferred
- minimum 5 years of culinary experience including leadership roles
- strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- experience with NetMenu application
- proven ability to manage budgets and analyze culinary costs
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lead and train teams effectively
- demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
- proficiency in maintaining compliance with procurement and safety standards
Job Duties
- Partner with leadership to ensure hiring best practices for culinary positions are followed
- ensure compliance with ISS/GEI/client guidelines, policies, SOPs, and CPEs for food production and quality standards
- maintain and monitor NetMenu applications accurately
- support and monitor culinary budgetary requirements and provide data for cost analysis
- create menu programming meeting program standards and unit-specific requirements
- follow ISS/GEI/client procurement purchasing guidelines, policies, and SOPs
- comply with Procurement Integrity Index scores as per KPI requirements
- participate in new unit startup processes
- facilitate culinary leadership team meetings for guidance and alignment on culinary initiatives
- monitor and cascade culinary training per ISS/GEI/client standards
- perform other duties as assigned
- ensure kitchen organization and cleanliness for workplace safety
- enforce food safety, allergen control, HACCP, and NSF guidelines daily
