Job Requirements

  • One year of experience related to the job assignment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • State Food Safety certified or able to obtain certification within six months
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team driven environment

  • State Food Safety certified or able to obtain certification within six months
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team driven environment
  • Previous university or high volume food service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for recipes including entrees, starches, vegetables, and soups using various equipment and cooking techniques
  • Clean prep areas, equipment, and dishes following proper sanitation methods
  • Assist with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of production and service areas
  • Set up and tend to drink stations, service lines, dish rooms, dining rooms, and courtesy stands
  • Stock and replenish service ware
  • Follow all sustainability and recycling procedures
  • Sanitize high contact surfaces
  • Follow set food safety guidelines
  • Follow A9 labeling and ParTech procedures
  • Clean seating areas, furniture, floors, and fixtures and attend the dish room
  • Serve on the food safety response team and respond to food safety emergencies
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Make empowered decisions within their span of control
  • Train new staff members including full-time and student employees
  • Follow CDS uniform guidelines and personnel hygiene standards
