Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50 and 6 non-audit credits
  • Be available to work 10-14 hours per week
  • Provide excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Possess good problem-solving abilities and prioritize tasks
  • Adhere to Student Employee Handbook uniform dress policy
  • Attend mandatory trainings
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to grasp and use technology effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Completed at least 6 non-audit credits
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work 10-14 hours per week with flexible hours
  • Adherence to Student Employee Handbook uniform dress policy
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Basic technology proficiency
  • Completion of at least one semester at UW-Parkside preferred

Job Duties

  • Answer questions and give directions regarding events, campus services, programs, account management, lockers, and lost and found items
  • Manage money daily and ensure accurate count of register drawer
  • Perform hazard and bodily fluid clean up procedures as trained
  • Follow mandatory reporting and general fire and emergency protocols
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, customers, and the public via telephone, email, and in person
  • Maintain organized and updated brochure racks
  • Use point of sale devices for tickets, dining plans, account management, and produce university ID cards
  • Collaborate with Student Center and Operation Associate teams and report workflow status
