Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in progress or equivalent experience
- prior experience in a programmatic role
- pass background screening and provide three references
- comply with CDHS law
- ability to work in a hectic and sometimes stressful environment
- physically able to walk up to two miles daily on uneven terrain and perform physical activities including lifting

- ability to attend staff orientations and reside at camp during summer
- high-energy, enthusiastic, creative, and open-minded
- valid driver's license preferred
- current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
Job Duties
- take care of staff and campers by prioritizing the physical, social, emotional health, safety, and well-being
- work as a team with the supervisory team to ensure every day runs as planned by helping lead meals, participating in camp programming, supporting cabin life, and providing coverage for cabin staff
- create a community where everyone is included
- engage fully in camp life including horseback riding, swimming, camping, playing games, singing, and roasting s'mores
- act as resources and support staff managing camp behaviors with positive techniques and enforcing safety policies and camp rules
- be flexible and adaptable to changing camp conditions
- oversee and coordinate all-camp programs including scheduled activities, elective activities, and special event days
- assist in supply ordering, purchasing, and delivery
- plan and lead staff training and daily program schedules
- lead in the creation of camp spirit and daily rituals
- fill in program roles as needed
