Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- high school graduate or GED preferred
- CPR and First Aid certified or capable of passing by June 15, 2026
- must be able to pass a state and federal background check
- a willingness to abide by The Salvation Army doctrinal statement and Camp Hoblitzelle’s policies
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 16 years old
- high school graduate or GED preferred
- a heart for others and a mind towards Christ
- should be self-motivated and teachable
- any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- CPR and First Aid certified or capable of passing by June 15, 2026 (training provided by Camp Hoblitzelle during staff training if needed)
- a willingness to abide by The Salvation Army doctrinal statement and Camp Hoblitzelle’s policies
- must be able to pass a state and federal background check
Job Duties
- maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- mops the kitchen daily following the evening meal, and mops the dish room after each meal
- washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand after each meal
- support and participates enthusiastically as a team member in overall camp programming, special events, and evening activities, and other all-camp activities and camp functions as a part of a collaborative staff team
- model Christian values and integrate faith into daily interactions, camper programs, and camp life
