Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in rooms or food and beverage departments in a hotel
  • A 4-year college degree with 2 to 3 years of related experience or a 2-year college degree with 3 to 4 years of related experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Effective in handling stressful and high-pressure situations
  • Compliance with certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
  • Overtime eligible manager position

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in rooms or food and beverage departments
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining composure
  • Compliance with certification requirements such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise operating departments and assist the General Manager in achieving hotel profitability
  • Proactively anticipate and address workplace issues to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in recruitment, hiring, and training of Guest Services staff
  • Support ongoing training programs across all departments in service standards
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests to resolve concerns
  • Work with financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions
  • Maintain company standards of personal appearance and grooming
