Job Duties
- Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests
- prepare product for sale including icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling
- maintain product level, quality and freshness
- perform bakery clerk functions when requested
- maintain sanitation standards in cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area
- properly clean work area, couplers and decorating bags
- maintain organization of freezer including proper product rotation
- communicate guest requests to management
- communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor
- keep supply area neat, clean and tidy
- properly rotate icings and scrape down buckets
- use cake manual as reference
- write on cakes
- properly mix colors according to color chart
- master the use of the airbrush
- use cake production sheet
- achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section
- perform all other duties assigned by management
- perform Front Porch duties to ensure guest arrival standard is maintained
- announce specials and sale info on PA system
- assist in product receiving and storage
