Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to read and write in English
- experience in retail bakery environment
- ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks
Job Qualifications
- experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries
- an eye for color, texture and design with attention to detail
- positive attitude
- basic understanding of English language to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage
Job Duties
- prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed
- mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings
- apply finishing work to cakes
- take guest orders by phone and in-person
- assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed
- maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment
