Job Requirements
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired

- Ability to operate bakery equipment and use specialized decorating tools
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties
- Clean and maintain the Bakery area including work surfaces, windows, mirrors, display cases, and coolers
- Follow company policies for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food
- Operate and sanitize food-related equipment
- Stock and display food products properly
- Utilize approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise
- Ensure inventory availability for member decorating options
- Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Prepare Bakery merchandise based on daily production needs
- Operate Bakery equipment
- Follow recipe measurement instructions
- Utilize specialized decorating skills to complete approved decorative designs
- Work with decorating bags, tips, nozzles to create flowers and lettering on bakery items
- Follow members' orders and specifications using appropriate designs and colors
- Properly wrap, label, and store merchandise
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, utilizing selling techniques to promote sales
- Take bakery orders in person or by phone
- Locate merchandise and manage production to ensure on-time delivery
- Keep sales area and backroom stocked
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Maintain safety by following all safety standards and procedures including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and reporting unsafe situations
- Maintain the sales floor according to company policies by handling claims, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages
