Job Requirements
- 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job training and assessments successfully within prescribed time period
- Willingness to follow company safety standards and procedures
- Ability to handle physical demands of bakery work such as standing for long periods and lifting
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 6 months experience in a fresh production or bakery role
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Strong member service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain bakery area including work surfaces, windows, mirrors, display cases, and coolers
- Follow company policies for food preparation, handling, packaging, labeling, and storage
- Operate and sanitize bakery equipment following safety guidelines
- Stock and display food products properly and maintain merchandise presentation
- Prepare bakery items based on daily production needs using recipes and decorating techniques
- Create decorative designs on cakes, cupcakes, and pies with decorating bags, tips, and nozzles
- Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with orders and purchases
