Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- flexible availability including mid-shift and closing shifts
- willing to adhere to Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- basic math and reading skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in deli, bakery, or food service roles desired
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexible mid-shift and evening schedules
- basic knowledge of food safety practices
- ability to operate kitchen and deli equipment safely
- teamwork and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing assistance and product knowledge
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor for stocking
- maintain cleanliness and adhere to proper food safety standards
- assist in inventory management and restocking
- support team efforts to meet store and customer service goals
- comply with Walmart policies and a drug-free workplace standard
