Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- Proficient with computer applications used in department operations
- Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions
- Compliance with Winn-Dixie policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Customer service skills
- Good interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Proficient in operating bakery equipment
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
Job Duties
- Produce high-quality decorated cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies
- Assist in daily bakery operations including baking and inventory management
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and freshness requirements
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service including product sampling and assistance
- Maintain efficient order processing and fulfillment of special customer requests
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain sanitation standards
- Promote teamwork and communicate effectively with bakery associates
