Job Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety practices and production methods
- Experience or education in confectionery or food production preferred
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Food handler's certificate preferred
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food producing processes, sanitization, and quality programs
- Knowledge of food producing techniques, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practices
- Understanding of food safety, food labeling, and nutrition related knowledge including FDA regulations
- Preferred major in confectionery or foods
- Food handler's certificate preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- High emotional intelligence
- Strong teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing of all desserts, pastries and cakes
- General knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
- Learn new products and skills and demonstrate proper techniques to new cakers
- Maintain sanitization procedures and overall cleanliness of workstation
- Manage time and organize skills effectively
- Ensure knowledge of all recipes and production procedures
- Ensure cake display is presentable for customers
- Make creams and sauces for cakes and pastries
- Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas
- Inform supervisor of equipment issues and manage supply levels
- Perform other related duties as assigned
