Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability to work part-time hours including opening and morning shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Must be able to follow food safety and cleanliness guidelines
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and stocking
- Previous experience in a similar role advantageous but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or retail helpful
- Ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work early morning or opening shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance
- Move incoming merchandise from receiving to the salesfloor
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli and bakery areas
- Follow food safety procedures and guidelines diligently
- Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting
