Job Requirements
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time period

- Capability to follow all safety standards and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cake decorating preferred
- Strong attention to detail and artistic skill in decorating bakery items
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Capacity to handle physical demands of bakery work including standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with operating bakery equipment and food packaging procedures
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain bakery area including work surfaces, windows, mirrors, display cases, and coolers by following company policies and procedures
- Prepare food items by handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food correctly
- Operate and sanitize bakery equipment and food-related tools following safety and hygiene standards
- Stock and display food products properly, ensuring merchandise presentation is organized and attractive
- Apply decorative skills to create bakery designs such as flowers, lettering, and custom orders on cakes, cupcakes, and pies using decorating bags, tips, and nozzles
- Assist members by acknowledging their needs, taking orders in person or by phone, locating merchandise, and resolving concerns
- Maintain safety standards by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions to management
- Manage inventory including stocking, pricing, organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, and securing fragile merchandise
- Maintain sales floor in bakery area according to company procedures including handling claims and returns, zoning, and identifying shrink and damages
