Job Requirements
- at least 18 years of age
- previous experience as a cake decorator or equivalent experience in a bakery or foodservice environment
- strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and an eye for detail
- ability to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
- ability to read, write, and perform basic math tasks
- ability to interpret and follow instructions and solve problems independently
- knowledge of federal food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work well with others as a team member in a fast-paced environment
- creativity and the ability to design unique and custom cakes for customers
- a passion for serving customers and creating beautiful, high-quality products

Job Duties
- provide premier customer service by greeting customers and answering their questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
- ice, decorate, and maintain cakes and other sweet treats in the bakery, ensuring products are stored in freezers and refrigerated showcases as needed
- fill customer special orders, including custom cakes, wedding cakes, and other personalized products
- ice, decorate, package, label, and price products for production and backstock fulfillment
- assist customers in making product-related decisions by providing helpful information about the cakes and treats available
- operate bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, sinks, and other tools necessary for cake decoration
- follow edwards food giant's guidelines for cake decorating, ensuring products meet the company's standards for freshness, sanitation, and safety
