Job Requirements

  • Six months' experience in fresh production area
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Be a team member by collaborating with cross functional teams and educating other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
  • communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service

  • plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
  • follow recipe measurement instructions
  • work with various decorating tools like bags, tips, and nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items
  • ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
  • demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
  • leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • use hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
  • adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
  • drive the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards
  • eliminate waste
  • prepare for seasonal events that impact bakery volume such as holidays, graduations, and family events
  • identify member needs
  • assist members with purchasing decisions
  • resolve member issues and concerns
  • be a brand advocate by valuing the member experience and modeling high quality service and products
