previous experience in cake decorating or bakery work preferred
ability to stand for extended periods
good hand-eye coordination
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Cuts cakes to customer specifications
fills cakes with appropriate fillings
ices cakes smoothly and attractively
decorates cakes with messages using pastry bags and tips
packages cakes for special orders and back stock
maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
ensures compliance with food safety standards
