Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lbs, and perform repetitive movements
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Proficient with bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, and pricing guns
- Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Ability to distinguish color and contrast preferred
Job Duties
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated
- Ensure department is merchandised per plan
- Deliver daily conditions that meet quality, freshness, and value standards
- Offer product samples and assist customers with product questions
- Decorate merchandise per customer request ensuring satisfaction
- Complete daily and weekly tasks including communications and trainings
- Process and bake merchandise according to production guidelines
- Review product quality and manage sell by dates
- Receive and unload delivery trucks and store products
- Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and date control
- Maintain efficient order processing
- Promote teamwork and collaboration among associates
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
- Report safety risks, accidents, or illegal activities to management
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas
- Use bakery equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
