Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- minimum of six months experience in fresh production area
- must successfully complete required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- ability to follow food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- capability to use bakery equipment safely
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least six months experience in fresh production area required
- strong attention to detail and creativity in cake decorating
- ability to use bakery decorating tools effectively
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to learn and adapt to digital tools
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- Be a team member collaborating with cross functional teams and educating associates on tools tasks and resources
- communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service
- maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
- plan bakery productions ensuring consistency and accuracy of decorative designs
- follow recipe measurements and use decorating tools like bags tips nozzles
- adhere to food safety standards sanitation guidelines and inventory management
- operate maintain and sanitize bakery equipment
- leverage digital tools for sales improvement and member engagement
- use hand held technology to make business decisions related to production and ordering
- drive performance of bakery area ensuring quality and date control
- eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal events affecting bakery volume
- assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues
- act as a brand ambassador valuing members experience and modeling high service standards
- assist in training and develop team members working in a respectful supportive team oriented style
- comply with company policies procedures ethics and integrity
- complete work assignments using data and resources while collaborating with others and communicating progress
