Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years old
able to work mid-shift and closing shifts
pass a background check
comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
able to lift up to 50 pounds
availability to work flexible part-time hours
basic math and reading skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in deli, bakery, or food service preferred
strong customer service and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
knowledge of food safety standards and practices
ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Job Duties

prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and knowledgeable service
move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor ensuring proper stock levels
clean work areas and maintain food safety standards
adhere to company policies and procedures related to food handling and safety
assist in inventory management and product rotation
collaborate with team members to ensure efficient deli and bakery operations
