Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cake decorating or pastry production preferred
- Willingness to participate in a 4-week paid training program in New Jersey
- Ability to work early morning shifts starting as early as 2:00-3:00 AM
- Ability to follow recipes and production procedures accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to maintain clean and sanitary work environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience with cake decorating or pastry production preferred
- Ability and willingness to attend 4-week paid training in New Jersey prior to opening
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry production processes
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Culinary or pastry education is a plus
- Food handler's certificate preferred
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare, decorate, and finish cakes, pastries, and desserts according to company standards
- Follow established recipes, techniques, and production procedures
- Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and sauces used in cakes and pastries
- Maintain visually appealing and well-stocked cake displays for guests
- Ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Receive, stock, and store food supplies properly
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies are running low
- Report equipment issues promptly to management
- Assist in training new team members when needed
- Support other bakery operations as required
