Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments successfully within prescribed time periods
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform bakery production tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience in fresh production area
- Experience in cake decorating preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology used in retail bakery settings
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Plan bakery production ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs
- Decorate bakery items using bags, tips, and nozzles to create flowers, lettering, and other designs
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Use handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, and product quality
- Drive bakery area performance by controlling waste, preparing for seasonal events, and resolving member concerns
- Advocate brand values by providing high-quality service and supporting team development
