Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including lifting and standing
- Must be able to comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Availability to work opening and morning shifts
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Ability to pass any required background checks and screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a deli, bakery, or food service environment beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work early morning shifts and adhere to a reliable schedule
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter to fulfill orders and respond to inquiries
- Move incoming merchandise to the salesfloor promptly
- Clean and maintain food safety standards in all deli and bakery areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in stocking and merchandising to ensure product availability and presentation
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient work environment
