Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- availability to work part-time shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to follow safety and sanitary guidelines
- pass Walmart's drug screening and background check
- basic math and reading skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in deli or bakery preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including mid and closing shifts
- knowledge of food safety standards
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate deli and bakery equipment safely
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products
- engage with customers at the service counter
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor
- maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- replenish stock and display products effectively
- follow food handling and safety regulations
- assist customers with product questions and special orders
