Job Requirements
- Minimum six months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job training and assessments within prescribed time periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Commitment to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Be a team member: collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources

- Be an expert: plan the bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs
- follow recipe measurement instructions
- work with a variety of products such as decorating bags, tips, nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items
- ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- Be a techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- utilize hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind
- adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
- Be an owner: drive the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste
- prepare for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume such as holidays, graduations, family events
- identify member needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- resolve member issues and concerns
- Be a talent ambassador: be a brand advocate by valuing the member’s experience in bakery and modeling high quality service and products
