Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work part-time including mid-shift and closing hours
- Ability to pass Walmart’s drug screening and background check
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in deli or bakery food preparation is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including mid-shift and closing shifts
- Basic math skills for handling measurements and cash transactions
- Familiarity with food safety regulations preferred
- Capability to work standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing helpful and friendly service
- Move incoming merchandise from stock to the sales floor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in portion control and accurate product labeling
- Support team members to achieve department goals
