Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a deli, bakery, or food service environment is a plus
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting
- knowledge of food safety standards and practices is desirable
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and efficient service
- move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor promptly
- clean and maintain deli and bakery workspaces and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- follow safe food handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety
- assist in stock rotation and inventory management for deli and bakery items
- comply with all store policies and procedures related to team operations and customer service
