Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- establish and maintain a safe and clean bakery environment
- assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- monitor all established quality assurance standards
- answer customer questions regarding products
- prepare bakery items including wedding cakes per customer request
- decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items
- check product quality and review sell by dates
- label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise
- report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
- adhere to all health, safety, and food safety regulations
- practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
- reinforce safety programs and notify management of any unsafe conditions or incidents
