Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to work early morning shifts
- capable of lifting and moving merchandise
- basic math and reading skills
- reliable and punctual
- willing to follow company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a deli or bakery setting is an asset
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible part-time shifts including mornings
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- effective communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter to provide assistance and information
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor efficiently
- clean and maintain work areas while adhering to food safety standards
- monitor food quality and freshness to ensure compliance
- assist with inventory control and product displays
- follow Walmart safety and sanitation procedures to provide a safe environment
