Job Requirements
- Proven experience within the cake/dessert decorating business
- Food handler's card
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operation with long periods of standing
- Excellent personal grooming and appearance standards
- High integrity and honesty
- Ability to take direction and feedback from supervisors
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience within the cake/dessert decorating business
- Demonstrate the ability to use many different mediums including Butter Cream and Pastry Pride
- Familiar with dozens of different decorating tips and have an eye for artistic detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Use of effective communication skills to be able to work with guests and take their cake orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operation with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Food handler's card
Job Duties
- Deliver outstanding hospitality and customer service
- Take cake orders and make cakes for guests' special orders and cakes made ahead and ready for pickup
- Ensure consistent standards are met while creating a beautiful edible piece of art
- Use creative skills to grow and build a successful cake business catering to the needs of the guests
- Drive sales and profitability through uncompromising execution, quality, and service
