Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work opening and morning shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must pass Walmart background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to comply with all food safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli or bakery or food service preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing excellent customer service
- Receive and merchandise incoming deli and bakery merchandise on the salesfloor
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are met and adhered to according to company and health regulations
- Assist in rotating and stocking product to maintain freshness
- Follow all Walmart policies and procedures including safety guidelines
