Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, stooping, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and kneeling
- Ability to safely handle and operate equipment such as case cutter, utility knife, forklift with certification, pallet jack and compact baler
- Ability to operate food prep equipment including slicer, oven, fryer, knives and mixers
- Must adhere to safety protocols including no use of illegal drugs or alcohol and maintaining a safe working environment
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate the Woods Supermarket D>E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company standards
- Notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
- Report all safety risks and illegal activity including robbery, theft or fraud
- Be respectful, courteous, and helpful to other teammates
- Stay current with all ads
- Understand the store's layout and assist guests to products
- Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers
- Follow proper food handling and safety protocols
- Ensure proper sanitation of department and equipment
- Follow technical manuals for processing products including label placement and packaging
- Update displays, cases and guest-facing areas to showcase new items and promotions
- Prep, store, rotate and stock merchandise
- Prepare items per guest requests using proper equipment
- Inform guests of department specials and make recommendations
- Provide guests fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Use all department equipment according to company guidelines
- Prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients
- Check product quality for freshness and review sell-by dates
- Report product ordering and shipping discrepancies to department manager
- Maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs
- Follow all food safety guidelines
- Prepare foods per food temperature logs and cooking instructions
- Measure, prepare and mix ingredients by recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment
- Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items
