Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Valid food safety certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compliance with uniform and personal protective equipment policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related field is a plus
- Recognized proficiency in baking methodologies, requirements, and adherence to food safety laws
- Mandatory food safety certification
- Proficiency in fundamental mathematical operations and numerical comprehension
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical functions including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Duties
- Follow production guidelines and standardized recipes to bake an assortment of pastries and baked goods
- Get your baking station ready with all the necessary tools and ingredients
- Assemble the ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and other essential actions
- Manage baking machinery like ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Safely employ kitchen tools, such as knives, when engaging in food prep activities
- Store food in a manner that aligns with food safety policies and procedures
- After completion of tasks, it is crucial to clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils to prevent contamination
- Provide stellar customer service and display a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
- Adhere to Aramark safety guidelines and protocols, which encompass correct procedures for food safety and sanitation
- Secure company property by strictly observing designated security protocols
