Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • knowledge of detergents and disinfectants and operation of sanitization equipment
  • previous cagewash experience preferred
  • ability to obtain ALAT certification within one year of eligibility
  • willingness to work Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM
  • ability to follow SOPs and quality standards
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • knowledge of detergent and disinfectant use
  • operational knowledge of sanitization and sterilization equipment
  • cagewash experience preferred
  • ability to obtain ALAT certification within one year of eligibility
  • strong attention to detail
  • good organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Sanitize and maintain animal cages and cagewash materials following SOPs and quality assurance standards
  • perform routine preventative maintenance on cagewash and autoclave equipment
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of animal holding facilities
  • assist with receipt, stocking, and maintenance of inventory supplies
  • engage in animal care and husbandry of multiple animal species
  • repair cagewash equipment as needed
  • comply with safety and operational protocols
