Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience
- five years cash management experience
- five years supervisory experience overseeing more than 30 people
- knowledge of cash management principles
- knowledge of Title 31 regulatory requirements
- knowledge of IRS payment requirements
- excellent analytical and communication skills
- ability to read, analyze and interpret financial data
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- ability to work in a smoking environment

Job Duties
- Ensures the efficiency of the Cage Operations department by scheduling and assigning duties to Cage Shift Managers
- Prepares and implements approved budget and strategic plans
- Monitors staff schedules and submits time and attendance documentation
- Processes necessary Human Resources documentation
- Communicates pertinent departmental information to staff
- Ensures policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are observed
- Reviews departmental paperwork for accuracy
- Sets foreign exchange rate margins and monitors bank rolls
- Protects casino assets and maximizes integrity by generating cash handling policies and procedures
- Identifies and reports procedural irregularities to the Gaming Commission and appropriate departments
- Cooperates with investigations and audits
- Interprets current and new regulatory requirements
- Performs process audits and provides the Casino Operations Controller with regular feedback
- Ensures the integrity of the Cage Operations department by monitoring adherence to Title 31, OFAC, FinCen, and IRS Regulations
- Identifies, corrects, tests and removes out of compliance activities
- Ensures positive guest relations by maintaining visibility on the casino floor
- Reviews and resolves guest concerns and disputes
- Promotes casino promotions and gaming opportunities
- Develops Cage Operations team members by scheduling and conducting training
- Provides instruction and guidance on policy and procedure application
- Prepares and conducts performance appraisals
- Provides counseling, guidance, and corrective actions as needed
- Hires qualified candidates by reviewing applications, interviewing, and selecting the best candidates
