Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • at least 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience
  • prior gaming industry experience preferred
  • excellent communication and guest service skills
  • professional demeanor and presence
  • ability to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
  • gaming industry experience is preferred
  • 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience preferred
  • excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills
  • professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members
  • ability to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License

Job Duties

  • Attend and participate in company and departmental meetings
  • build guest relations by engaging with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back
  • redeem and sell chips
  • process Tito tickets by validating and redeeming value
  • validate and settle slot machine jackpots and cancel credit payouts
  • issue table chip fills and table credits
  • efficiently make exchanges of funds for team members
  • promptly cash guests out, give correct change, and answer guest questions courteously and professionally
  • appropriately use all related equipment and cash handling systems
  • keep cash drawer balanced and compliant
  • count and verify team member tips/tokes
  • sort and stack chips appropriately
  • review operational data and complete and verify paperwork
  • verify and document personal identification information for transactions
  • maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards and internal controls
  • troubleshoot problems and develop workable solutions
  • track and complete all government reporting
  • have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policies
  • maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and empower others to do the same
  • handle routine guest complaints and incidents with discretion and seek supervision when required
  • work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • perform other duties as assigned
