Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- able to obtain Louisiana Gaming License
- must demonstrate ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without a calculator
- general cashiering background or prior money-handling experience required
- must be able to count money and coins accurately
- must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- must be able to work any shift as well as fluctuating window times
- must read, write, speak, and understand English
- must be willing to serve customers from a variety of backgrounds
- must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- able to pass mandated regulation and department testing
- must present a well-groomed appearance
- must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs approximately 100 to 150 times per shift
- able to stand, walk, stoop, talk, hear and reach at least 2 feet across a counter
- must have good close and medium range vision with ability to distinguish colors
- able to walk and remain standing for 8 to 10 hours with breaks
- able to safely push or pull a cashier cart when fully loaded
- able to differentiate between various denominations of currency, chips or tokens
- must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment including computers, jet sorts and 10 keys
- must tolerate secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
- able to work fast paced mentally and physically stressful situations
- must maintain professional composure in all situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- general cashiering experience or prior money-handling experience
- ability to perform basic arithmetic without a calculator
- effective communication skills in English
- demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills
- willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to pass mandated regulation and department testing
- well-groomed appearance
- knowledge of Caesars Rewards program and customer service protocols
- ability to handle physical demands of the role
Job Duties
- Operates assigned bank or window according to procedure
- verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank or window
- counts down bank or window at end of shift and reconciles to cage accountability
- transfers carts to and from vault, cage, change banks and poker room
- operates coin wrapping equipment and verifies coin transfers
- greets and welcomes customers as a company representative
- promotes Caesars Rewards program and customer loyalty
- resolves customer issues using service recovery tools
- seeks ways to improve friendly, helpful service and reduce customer wait times
- cross sells property events and amenities
- ensures accurate data entry and maintains data integrity
- issues comps according to department guidelines
- meets attendance guidelines and adheres to company policies
- performs other duties as assigned
