Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum one year experience as a cashier or bank teller
- pass a basic bank teller/money handling test
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no felony, theft, assault, or stealing convictions
- able to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- able to pass background investigation
- obtain and maintain a gaming license
- knowledge and proficiency in basic mathematics
- ability to carry out mathematical computations
- ability to become familiar with all cage functions
- ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
- ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with diverse individuals
- skill in cashier's cage operations and applicable laws
- skill in problem solving and decision making
- skill in typing and 10-key operation
- skill in operating business computers and office machines including Windows, Word, Excel
- able to stand for extended periods
- able to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- available to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and irregular shifts

Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service to internal and external guests, maintains excellent team member relations
- safeguards casino assets
- counts and verifies all cash/coin/chip transactions in the cage
- makes change for guests and exchanges coin/chip for cash
- issues banks, remake banks, replenishes change for all departments
- performs fills for Table Games and pays out jackpots to electronic gaming devices
- performs redemption, vault/main bank, check cashing, credit card transactions, cage exchanges, and payouts
- services ATM and Kiosk machines including adding or decreasing currency
- complies with federal cash reporting requirements
- complies with internal controls/policies and procedures
- maintains accurate cage cash transmittal forms
- reports currency counting equipment problems
- maintains confidentiality of all Casino operation data
- contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results
- demonstrates Desert Diamond Casino 'On Brand' attitude towards team members and guests
- performs other duties as required
