Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum one year experience as a cashier or bank teller or equivalent
- must be 18 years or older
- no felony, theft or stealing convictions
- successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- successful background investigation
- ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
- proficiency in basic mathematics
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to perform cashier cage operations
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- willingness to work evening, graveyard, holiday, and weekend shifts
- ability to handle exposure to second-hand smoke and high noise environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year experience as a cashier or bank teller or equivalent
- knowledge and proficient in basic mathematics
- ability to become familiar with all cage functions
- skill in cashier cage operations and of applicable laws
- ability to communicate, read, and write in basic English
- ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
- skill in problem solving and sound decision-making
- skill in typing and 10-key operation
- skill in operating business computers and office machines including Windows, Word, Excel
Job Duties
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- safeguards casino assets
- counts and verifies all cash, coin, chip transactions in the cage
- makes change for customers and exchanges coin, chip for cash
- issues banks, remake banks, replenishes change for all departments
- performs fills for Table Games and pays out jackpots to electronic gaming devices
- services ATM and Kiosk machines including adding or decreasing currency
- complies with federal cash reporting requirements
- maintains accurate cage cash transmittal forms
- reports currency counting equipment problems
- performs redemption, vault/main bank, check cashing, credit card transactions, cage exchanges, and payouts
- complies with internal controls, policies and procedures
- maintains confidentiality of casino operation data
- contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results
- performs other duties as required
