Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum one year of cashier or money handling experience
- must demonstrate excellent communication skills
- ability to pass company-administered math skills test
- ability to operate office equipment including 10-key adding machine, computer, telephone, and photocopier
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- must maintain valid Gaming license
- must be able to stand, walk and move through casino areas
- ability to withstand exposure to loud noises, bright lights, and smoking environment
- physical ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel and push carts
- ability to maintain confidentiality of gaming records
- employment contingent on background investigation and drug screening
- must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- willingness to comply with company policies and training programs
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of previous cashier or money handling experience
- previous customer service experience or ability to demonstrate high-level service, listening and resolution skills
- preferred clerical or data entry experience
- preferred knowledge of cash register start-up and close-down
- preferred operational knowledge of coin counters, wrappers, and currency counters
- ability to operate office equipment including 10-key adding machine, personal computer, telephone and photocopier
- effective math skills and ability to pass a math skills test
- excellent communication skills
- ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to public and team members
- strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Maintains and reconciles all assigned casino assets during shifts
- allots jackpots to slot attendants and distributes slot attendant banks
- distributes and collects cashier banks
- orders monies through exchange slips
- redeems chips, tickets, and other negotiables for cash
- completes cash advances and personal check cashing
- processes and delivers exchanges to cashiers
- uses coin sorters, wrappers, and currency counters
- conforms to all rules and regulations of SGC CTR / SAR Compliance
- issues counter checks (markers) and accepts payments towards outstanding checks
- accepts and distributes funds for patron deposits, withdrawals, and wire transfers
- maintains remote kiosks for redemptions and transactions
- prepares, verifies, and processes chip fills and credits
- maintains counter check inventories and deposits
- maintains accountability for assigned keys and key inventories
- provides assistance to supervisors as needed
- maintains confidentiality of all gaming records
- works collaboratively with gaming and casino cage departments
- adheres to all company information security policies
- provides exceptional guest service and maintains a professional work environment
- meets attendance and regulatory guidelines
- completes all required training
- attends necessary meetings
- performs additional duties as assigned
