- Must be able to operate kitchen equipment and work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions
- Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with staff

- Ability to attend meetings and training sessions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or cafeteria work beneficial
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Ensure safety of students
- Assist in preparation of food
- Maintain sanitary work area, clean counters, equipment, tray stations
- Serve food
- Wash pots, pans, utensils and other food prep materials
- Maintain serving area with proper utensils and condiments
- Adhere to sanitary standards in work and attire
- Maintain confidentiality on personnel, students and operational concerns
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
- Report suspected child abuse to appropriate personnel and authorities
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Maintain a pleasant, cooperative work atmosphere
