Job Duties
- Prepare daily food items and assist the Team Leader with tasks such as cutting produce, baking, frying, and setting up wells using proper safety and sanitation practices
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assemble grab-and-go items such as parfaits, fruit cups, sandwiches, and salads
- Keep the kitchen and cafeteria clean and organized, including running the dish machine, wiping down counters and coolers, sweeping, and mopping
- Ensure adequate quantities of food are available for each break without excessive waste
- Assist with putting away deliveries, managing waste, restocking supplies, and noting items that need to be reordered
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, questions, and concerns
- Serve customers during meal breaks in a courteous, efficient manner
- Accept payment and make accurate change using the point-of-sale system
- Count the register at the beginning and end of shift and provide reports and funds to the Accounting Department
