Job Requirements

Competence in expressing thoughts and ideas clearly in English both orally and through writing
maintaining a professional demeanor that is neat and orderly
resilient endurance for extended or alternating work periods
ability to be vertical for extended periods
capable of working at different times based on job requirements
highly collaborative nature
demonstrate a sense of critical priority
capable of lifting 25 pounds multiple times within a day
minimum of one year of experience in money handling
prior waitstaff experience is a plus

Job Duties

Exhibit strong proficiency in the menu to explain offerings to guests
keep guests informed about current food promotions and specials
accurately document food and beverage orders on guest tickets
promptly enter orders into the POS system with correct abbreviations and charges
provide efficient food and beverage service by fetching orders and delivering them promptly
gauge guest behavior and involve a manager when necessary
abide by alcohol awareness procedures including age verification and intoxication prevention
confirm correctness of all financial dealings and handle coins accurately
operate credit card processors accurately
deliver timely and accurate change calculations
maintain table orderliness by pre-bussing, monitoring beverage levels, decluttering, and supplying napkins
keep the station spotless and arrange and dismantle station tables correctly
execute duties related to shift changeover or beginning and end of the day
ensure adherence to company safety and sanitation policies
offer help to other team members as needed
promote positive working relationships and uphold team morale
present Golden Corral in a favorable manner
maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of equipment and supplies
