Job Requirements
- high school diploma or g.e.d.
- two years experience in cafeteria management or relevant on the job training
- certified food manager's sanitation certificate or ability to pass the certification test
- ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and verbally
- knowledge of kitchen equipment, recipe procedures, food safety and sanitation standards
- experience using computers

Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to recipes and menu requirements
- maintain high standards of food production, sanitation, and safety practices
- supervise and manage up to 10 kitchen staff
- train employees in all kitchen duties and safety protocols
- ensure compliance with health department regulations
- manage kitchen operations efficiently
- maintain accurate records and reports related to food service operations
