Job Requirements
- At least 2 years food service experience required
- ServSafe certification required prior to starting
- Ability to manage small team effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work from 7AM to 2PM Monday to Friday
- Attention to detail and adherence to sanitary standards
- Basic computer literacy and cash register operation skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of food service experience
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain accurate records and inventories
- Basic math and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Manage 2 other kitchen employees
- Prepare and serve quality food to students
- Maintain proper documentation necessary for local and state Boards of Health
- Maintain proper documentation of all food, material, and equipment inventory
- Adhere to all sanitary standards in both work and attire
- Adhere to school district menu as set by Food & Nutrition Director
- Order all food, supplies, and materials needed for the program
- Adhere to all standardized recipes
- Assign kitchen personnel to various duties and move as needed
- Run cash register, close cash drawer, provide total cash and meal count as required
- Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment
